Will Swirl Deliver The Goods?

Bag Ladies could surely say Swirl is just another Gilt Group, yet another online retail shopping outlet to make you feel guilty but Swirl has a personality all it's own and for those of us that wouldn’t otherwise have access to both high end, couture designers and fresh on the scene buzzmakers (as Swirl refers), it just means greater accessibility and how can you not love that? Bag Ladies sure does. You know Daily Candy, they deliver the latest and greatest in fashion, food, fun and style via email, video and the web. Well they saw the opportunity to not only bring us fashion news but the actual merchandise that makes the news and thus Swirl was born. The first sample sale launched just last month and still in Beta which means Swirl is still in development basically ...translation, a lot of tweaking of the site and additions of new features will likely be taking place over the next few months but I’d say Swirl is definitely off to a good start with sample sales by brands and Designers such as Burberry, Tod’s and Cosabella. As an existing DailyCandy subscriber, I’m promised special promotions and exclusive merchandise (I’ll get back to you regarding whether Swirl holds true to their promise). And for those of you who may not know what a sample sale is, it is basically when a Designer or store or design house sells promotional merchandise so the pieces may have been used in a fashion show, to show buyers or a photo shoot which is why the sizes available are typically very limited. But the discounts can be significant, ranging anywhere fro 20% to 80% off retail. And sometimes sales consist of leftover pieces from previous seasons which are discounted even more. One has to wonder however with the economy being as such and with all of the competition from similar sites like NET-A-PORTER (one of my faves), Outnet and more, will Swirl be able to sustain. But I guess as long as “fashionista shopaholics” like you and me exist, sites such as Swirl will always serve a purpose.

In terms of features, there aren’t a lot of bells and whistles and the site design doesn’t hold a lot of visual appeal. But minus the fuss means you can get down to the bizness of shopping cause there aren't alot of distractions so you likely won't be doing much stopping along the way. I just love the name Swirl and one standout was that seemingly all size zero models aren’t parading all over the site which gives the impression that Swirl is making an effort to speak to all women in all sizes and I applaud them for that. When it comes to shipping and returns, policies are standard. I’ll have to get back to you with my first-hand account of the overall shopping experience once having made my first purchase. Right now I’m asking "Santa Baby" to slip the $76.00 Cosabella Basic Bamboo Robe in Radish under the tree!

What You Missed ...Bag Ladies Radio Recap

You are definitely a beauty and Bag Ladies surely thinks you are a cutie too!! And that was the message of this week's, “It’s All About Beauty Cutie!”, Bag Ladies recurring monthly episode where they talk all things beauty. Bag Ladies Reality Radio, the nationally broadcast weekly reality radio show that targets women and is all about the reality of ladies, their lives and how they do it so needless to say, beauty is a hot topic of convo and Beauty Talk is one of Bag Ladies most popular segments. As the Holiday season is upon us, much attention was lent to great Holiday deals on some of the most notable and fave beauty brands as well as some of the trends and colors being sported this season and some of the hottest collections and beauty sets that make for great gifts and stocking stuffers. As an added treat as if banter about all things beauty isn’t enough, Bag Ladies featured beauty fanatic and straight talking beauty expert, Daneen Baird from the craze that is Spoiledpretty.com which is an award winning beauty lifestyle site that is the go-to guide to what’s new, what's hot, and what's next in the world of beauty.

After much chatter amongst Lady Erin, Madame Myra and Miz Adams to include the Life of Bag Ladies and where they are on the scene, newsworthy buzz mostly dominated by the Tiger Woods saga, What’s Poppin w/ the Paparazzi featuring all types of celeb juice from Rihanna’s antics to what is Nicki Minaj’s talent exactly and why is she jocking Lil Kim's style? And not to be forgotten, Madame Myra’s Top 10 myth busters, it was time to get down to the nitty gritty …all while doing this sober as this week’s episode was minus, “What’s Sippin.” But rest assured that as the Bag Ladies themselves proclaimed, they will more than make up next week for this week’s sobriety.

T
he Bag Ladies woman is one that strives to put her best face forward all the time so after having discussed the concept that is spoiledpretty.com, the Bag Ladies and featured guest Daneen Baird discussed all things beauty from the colors being worn on nails to lips, eyeliners and more and Miz Adams told a story of conquering her fear of the red lip which most women can relate but as Lady Erin said, “it comes down to finding the right red to compliment your complexion and you will never wanna take it off. There’s nothing sexier.” Daneen compared it to finding the perfect black dress. Holiday beauty collections and stocking stuffers were the hottest topic of convo as Daneen rattled off her top 6 gift picks which included everything from Godiva Chocolate Candles (pictured above left) in scents like Milk Chocolate Truffle and Raspberry Ganache to Bath & Body Works Lounge Socks (pictured below left) that contain shea butter moisturizer. And Bag Ladies had a few stocking stuffer faves too like the Victoria's Secret Love Rocks Lip Gloss Ring (pictured above right ...Lady Erin was applying the sheer cherry gloss during the show), the Sephora Lip Service Deluxe Sampler and the best of bliss 2009 (both pictured below right) in lemon+sage. Now aren’t you ready to rush out and get your Holiday shopping on? Tune into Bag Ladies Reality Radio OnDemand and catch up on the great convo you might’ve missed per the live episode and get the full scoop on celeb juice, product reviews and more and be sure to tune in next week and each and every Tuesday to Bag Ladies Reality Radio at 7p EST for more real women, real talk. Bag Ladies Look of the Week: Halle Berry

Who else on this planet could rock a simple long-sleeve, belted, black jersey dress, better than Halle Berry? From the top of her pixie cut head to the bottom of her feet which are covered in stunning charcoal grey suede platforms. And you might think that she was stepping out for a true "fashionista" event but instead, Halle was stepping out all for the cause. Bag Ladies (always on the scene), caught a glimpse of Halle stepping out on Saturday for the March of Dimes fourth annual Celebration of Babies at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. Halle kept it simple but still kept it hot! Did you really expect any less? So you know the routine ...Recreate the look, snap a few pics and get em to us for some FREE swag. Bag Ladies never lets you down and always hooks you up! You have one week to get the pics to us here.

Bag Ladies ..."All About The Cause"

Bag Ladies Reality Radio was "All About The Cause" last night as they dedicated their weekly show entirely to Breast Cancer Awareness. And since October is in fact Breast Cancer Awareness month, it was a perfect fit and a great way to close out Bag Ladies last show of the month. But don't think you've heard the last of Bag Ladies when it comes to raising awareness, Bag Ladies efforts to lend attention to Breast Cancer and particularly the rising number of diagnoses amongst young women will continue beyond October and will be an ongoing conversation. Check out the "Pink Ribbon" featured last nite as per Bag Ladies "What's Sippin." The "Pink Ribbon" is 4oz. Pink Lemonade, 1oz. Triple Sec and White Zinfandel. You can feel good about taking this drink to the head ...Just remember, it's "All About The Cause". Bag Ladies hopes to be able to score a couple of the adorable Lolita Designs Pink Ribbon glasses (pictured at right). Additional products will be profiled. Check this week's Thru The Eyes of Bag Ladies for the Beauty Chic pick.
Madame Myra was MIA so her Top 10 was missed but Lady Erin and Miz Adams brought good convo about everything from "boobies" to the swine flu to the gorgeous Belvedere "Belvie Bag" and the Balmain Booties Lady Erin kicked off during the course of the show. You know, to set the tone of chatting it up with your good girlfriends. She was already sippin good. But mix that with celeb news always delivered by Gossip Guru, Jameelah per "What's Poppin With The Paparazzi" and you got a hot show!! "What's Poppin" is one of the most popular segments and always gets Lady Erin, Madame Myra and Miz Adams amped up and last nite was no exception. Jameelah provided dominating celeb headlines about everything from the beef btwn. Spike Lee and Tyler Perry to the supposed hookup btwn. Justin T. and Rihanna, Lamar Odom and Khloe (formerly Khloe Kardashian) Odom matching tats and soooo much more. To understand is to tune into Bag Ladies Radio every Tuesday or check it out OnDemand. There was a definite tone of just having a good time as Lady Erin and Miz Adams were glad to be back on air after taking last Tuesday off to as they said, "work behind the scenes on some thangs, new features, segments and stuff." Bag Ladies stepped it up a tad last nite with the new "Bag Ladies On The Scene in ATL with Lisa and Ra." This will be a regular segment about some of the happenings and latest and greatest in the ATL which includes Bag Ladies attendance of last weekend's premier party for R&B singer Monica's new reality series, "Still Standing." As is typical at the end of the show, Miz Adams "WOW'd" us with her Words of Wisdom.

Great shows, events and segments to be revealed over the next couple weeks including Bag Ladies efforts to bring Dr. Legs and Catwalk Confidence to DC. Check out the previously aired show with Dr. Legs, OnDemand.

To understand the engaging conversation and real talk amongst the real women that are the Bag Ladies is to set your schedule to tune into Bag Ladies Reality Radio every Tuesday at 7p EST. And if you can't, you can always take advantage of the OnDemand feature which allows you to listen to the show 24/7 whenever your schedule permits, download it to your iPod even. The Bag Ladies Radio playa even plays on mybagladies blog so you might be tuned in as you read this very post. But every episode ever aired is yours for the listening.

Bag Ladies Look of the Week: First Lady

As we were perusing potential looks to post for our Bag Ladies Look of the Week, we came across this pic of the First Lady last week on the south lawn of the White House promoting physical fitness at the Healthy Kids Fair, and fell in love that much more since if you're like us you were already in love with Michelle Obama. We couldn't take our eyes off this pic and it's less about the fashion this week although she brings it but instead it's more about the "free spiritidness" she portrays. Who doesn't want that? Who doesn't want to be able to pull that look off? She's so unpretentious and real which is why Bag Ladies Reality Radio loves her. She is totally oblivious to the press and paparazzi which we can deffie relate to cause the press and paparazzi always trying to capture our fabulousness but I digress. But to be able to capture that carelessness and still look nonetheless put together and sharp with a black studded wide leather belt, royal blue cardigan, slim fitting tapered capri pants, First Lady Michelle Obama won hands over fist. As for your role in capturing the look and getting us some pics ...if you so choose, cool but know that we want the look in its entirety which includes the accessory that is the hula hoop. That's right ...you gotta accessorize it up. So get to pulling the pieces together, dust off that old hula hoop and oh, be sure to put those hips in action too. You got a week as always to get your pics to us here for some FREE Swag.

And not to be forgotten, tune into Bag Ladies Radio tomorrow at 7p EST for "All For the Cause." And be on the lookout for this week's edition of Thru The Eyes of Bag Ladies, hits inboxes everywhere tomorrow. If you ain't on the list, click here now and join the club.

Bag Ladies Look of the Week: Beyonce' Knowles

Beyonce "rocked the frock" Friday literally at handbag designer, Samantha Thavasa's Meet and Greet at Studio Mouris Roppongi in Tokyo, Japan. "B" is simply chic, adorned in Rock & Republic as both the strapless black cocktail dress and cobalt blue suede "Celina" pumps with spike detail are both R&R. We love the trend that is the black strapless dress and the platform pumps are to die for and that color is making us drool. This is such an effortless look which are sometimes the best.

Currently performing in Asia, "B" was able to find time to make a pit-stop and support designer Samantha Thavasa whose handbags "B" refers to as hip and chic. Last time she was caught at a Samantha Thavasa event, sister Solange wasn't too far behind but this time "B" stepped out solo but not without a
Samantha Thavasa design on her arm.
So wassup, what do you think of the look? You think you can pull it off? You ready to snap some pics and show us? Well get to it. We may just snap some pics of ourselves pulling this look off but "B" is modeling one of the hottest fall trends. You can easily find a similar style strapless black cocktail dress for less than 40 bucks and if you click here, you can find that must have cobalt blue shoe or do some searching of your own for a similar style at a lesser price. We are less interested in the brand of course and more interested in how you hook it up and pull it off. Show yourself off and get some FREE swag in return. You know we got you but you gotta pull the look together and email your pics to us at info@bagladiesradio.com. You got a week ...until next week's Bag Ladies Look of the Week.

Be sure to tune into this week's show Tuesday, at 7p EST on bagladiesradio.com and don't miss this week's Thru The Eyes of Bag Ladies. If you ain't yet on the list, get it together and click here now.

Bag Ladies Look of the Week: Gabrielle Union

So many hot events to pull great looks ...from Paris Fashion Week to the Los Angeles premier of Chris Rock's Good Hair ...Bag Ladies had a chance to check out an advance screening last week. And definitely gather the girls and check it out cause it is a movie although I think technically classified as a documentary, but surely a hit that you won't wanna miss. It's that good, that insightful and damn sure that funny!! Anything that explores how territorial and possessive Black Women can be and have always been about their hair whether it's their own biological hair or someone else's, is a guaranteed riot!!!
But back to what we doing here, we at Bag Ladies just couldn't take our eyes off the comfortably chic look Gabrielle Union rocked at the Good Hair premier and we are that much more excited to see how you, our listeners might pull it off. Like we said last week, we are switching things up and no longer recreating the look for you, we are turning it over to you and instead, you show us the sense of style we know you have.
So get to recreating, snap some pics and get them to us along with your contact info, for some FREE Swag!! You have 1 week and we made this one a bit easy because everyone should have a cropped jacket, tights (of course), a black belt and if you don't have a jumper or romper such as what G Union is sporting, you surely got a mini that you can work. Anyway, click here to email us the pics and show us what you can do.
And don't forget to tune into bagladiesradio.com tomorrow at 7p EST. It's a show you don't wanna miss particularly if you are as much a fan of the RHOA as we are. But somebody just might get checked and it ain't gonna be us!!

What's Poppin With The Paparazzi ...

Our Bag Ladies "Gossip Guru" always brings it to us every Tuesday with our What's Poppin With The Paparazzi segment and she literally has us falling out of our chair every week and tears strolling down our face with laughter. Tonite was no different. And one headline in particular was too hilarious not to immediately post and if you missed this eve's show, check it out here OnDemand. But as we talked about last week, Tyra's whole mission to sport her natural locks and get rid of the weave and commence some sort of a natural hair day, has garnered some attention not just from regular folk and fabulous Bag Ladies but also celebs. And one response in particular that we talked about tonite, could not be ignored. Our girl also actress and model, Joy Bryant let a rip! And like my friend and I were chatting about, call me stupid but I never knew she had a weave. Anyway, read for yourself below ...

Joy Bryant wrote a blog over at Essence.com. And she’s being half sarcastic and half real about her own addiction to weave. ANd how Tyra’s “real hair” realization has no effect on her:

As the threads of the grown-out tracks were being snipped, I broke out my laptop and began my ritualistic daily web search. I go from news of the day to articles/blogs about the news of the day, ending up on entertainment/gossip/fashion stuff.

But that day, something caught my attention and trumped all of the glowing reviews of President Obama’s health care speech:

It was Tyra’s hair.

National Real Hair Day? I missed that one…In fact, on National Real Hair Day, I was calling Extensions Plus in L.A. to make sure they had enough of the 20” “relaxed roots” texture hair that I love oh so much (and that keeps selling out like crazy!), and making an appointment to get my hair, I mean, my weave, hooked up.

So Tyra, while I didn’t take part in your observance, I just want to say: “WOW!” You are such a brave woman for breaking the chains that bound you since your teenage years! What courage that took, for you to expose yourself to millions of people! Such fearlessness!
Oh, how I wish I had the guts to do that. I guess I’m much too much of an insecure, self-loathing Negro for all that self-acceptance foolishness.

I’m glad we got down to solving the mystery of what’s under your lace-front, though. I mean seriously, it was “THE” question that has perplexed the world over. And now we see that there’s a beautiful head of hair underneath it all, hair that was surprisingly relaxed and ready for the world. Whodathunkit?! If I had the same length and fullness of hair that you have, I might take my weave out too.

Ha!!!! I’m just playing! Even if I DID have your “real” hair, I’d still be wearing a few tracks or clip-ons up in there.

Why?

Because I’m straight weave fo life, kid!!!

Ima ride ride wit this weave, die die with this weave!!

Let me break it down for you:

See, I loooooove taking new hair out of the bag, combing through it with my fingers, holding it up with my two hands, and burying my face in it. Mmmm, mmmm, mmm! Nothing like a new batch of zig-zag curly to get your self esteem out of the dumps!

The feeling of getting my hair, I mean, my weave done over. I feel human again. I feel sexy. I feel powerful. It makes me feel…it makes me feel…it makes feel like a natural woman!!!
I can be whatever, whoever I want to be with the stroke of a sewing needle…

With long brown tresses and a tan, I’m Pocahontas, ’cause I got Indian in my family. With easy waves, I AM bohemian rhapsody goddess personified. And now that I got blond highlights! What!? I know I look like Beyonce! You can’t tell me nothing! Uh oh, uh oh…
And then I looked up from my computer, and caught a glimpse in the mirror of my head minus the long weavy locks. I looked crazy! Awww hell naw! I looked over at the new batch of hair sitting off to the side waiting to join forces with me. Damnit, I’m trapped, I thought to myself. I can’t let it go. I am powerless over it. Just when I think I’m done, it pulls me back in!

Now I guess I can get help for my self-loathing addiction.

I can learn to accept myself in my entirety. I can emancipate myself from that which keeps me locked-up. I can embrace the natural state of things.

Yup, I can do all of that…

But don’t hold your breath!

Hi, my name is Joy, and I’m a weave-a-holic.

Bag Ladies Look of the Week: Eve

It's Monday which means it's time for another fabulous look! Perhaps you might've caught some of the looks posted all over the world wide web from VH1's Hip Hop Honors 2009 which is the only way you will sneak a peek since the show doesn't air until October 13th. There were many head turning looks on the red carpet ...some good, most bad. But one look in particular that we liked and selected as our fave of the week, is our girl Eve. Always on the radar, Eve maintains her style and doesn't compromise. Eve achieves such a great balance between femininity and confidence with just a touch of testosterone thrown in! We love the way she rocked this little black dress. Everyone should have one ...of course it doesn't have to be Helmut Lang but Eve set it off with a gorgeous yellow and black striped clutch, fingerless gloves and Diego Dolcini heels. Evidently she took the stage and presented so can't want to see her do her thang.

BTW, Bag Ladies is switching things up a bit and further details will be revealed on tomorrow's show. But instead of our recreating the look at a more cost-effective price, we want you to do it!!! That's right, we are turning it over to you. Bag Ladies Radio wants to give you some FREE swag but you gotta do your part too. Once our fave is posted, you then take the look, recreate it on yourself, snap a couple pics and submit to Bag Ladies providing your contact info. and details to include where pieces came from (brands), and price points. Each week, a different winner will be announced and that winner will be sent some great goodies!!! And trust, we don't front. We mean what we say, you will get some great goodies!! So get to recreating, snapping and sending. Submit all entries to info@bagladiesradio.com.

Tune into Bag Ladies Reality Radio tomorrow at 7p EST for more. Talk to ya then!!

Look of the Week: Olivia Wilde

Bag Ladies Look of the Week!!

Pictured at right and below: Olivia Wilde from House

All attention of course was paid to the Emmy Awards Red Carpet last night. I felt a bit sorry for those that had to endure what was like 102 degrees to walk the red carpet and give it in an effort to get that one shot. You could clearly see the sweat on the brow of everyone. It was probably the most talked about subject on the red carpet. But nonetheless, there were definitely some standouts from Christina Applegate to Mariska Hargitay to Julia Louis-Dreyfuss. And you know I'm a die-hard Seinfeld fan and although Julia didn't make it as our look for this week, she can do no wrong. But our pick for the Look of the Week is Olivia Wilde from the show House. She drove home skin is in and perhaps the barely there dress left her a bit more room to breath cause I certainly didn't notice a bead of sweat anywhere on her. But this bare back, full skirt Marchesa dress not only garnered the attention of everyone at the Emmy's, Paparazzi and all but Bag Ladies as well. And the smoky eye was a great compliment. We are gonna try our best to tell you how to get it. And first time for everything ...we had to give Heidi Klum a gold star b/c she is absolutely the most gorgeous "preggers" woman we've ever seen and she worked the red carpet w/ Seal by her side in all her pregnant glory. And wouldn't you know it, we found that her black strapless lace gown w/ embroidered bodice was Marchesa as well. Seems that both Olivia and Heidi have great taste!

Tune in tomorrow at 7p EST only on bagladiesradio.com. Bag Ladies is joined tomorrow by Dr. Legs to talk about Catwalk Confidence, "How To Live A Fitness Chic Lifestyle" and hot footwear trends for fall.

Bag Ladies Look of the Week: Cassie at the 2009 VMA's

So many fave looks to be had at last night's MTV VMA's, it made it nearly impossible to pick a fave. Although there were just as many looks that you wouldn't wanna be caught dead in on the red carpet. But for Bag Ladies Look of the Week, we just love the print of Cassie's plunging neckline silk floral print mini paired with metallic peep-toe booties. And the contrast of the bright yellow clutch totally sets if off not to mention those diamond cuffs. Say what you will about her hairstyle but still loving the originality and for this look, it's styled in such a way that it is garnering less attention and is rather a compliment to her sassy style. Her makeup is not too extreme or overpowering. The nude lip and smokey eye is perfect!

Tune into tomorrow's Bag Ladies Reality Radio at 7p EST and we'll tell you how to get the look for yourself.

FASHION ...We Can't Get Enough!!

As folks recover from last night's glorious and fabulous (especially for those in NYC), nationwide Fashion's Night Out (Patricia Field pictured at left), a real kick in the butt to stimulate the retail industry, folks are slamming blogs and sites across cyberspace that have their finger on the pulse of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week which continues on into next week. Definitely stay close to The Fashion Bomb because as Claire (pictured at right) mentioned on this week's episode of Bag Ladies (check out what you may have missed On Demand), she is gonna be providing regular and frequent updates on that which is walking down the runway. BAG LADIES LOOK OF THE WEEK: Amber Rose

We caught a shot of Amber Rose shopping last week on Robertson Blvd. in LA, "bunned" up with beau Kanye West. Some folks call their inseparability as part of her quest for fame and she's not as into him as the pics of them out and about would suggest. But nevertheless, you will most often see her stepping out looking fab and nevertheless, Bag Ladies is claiming this look as one our faves so it is Bag Ladies Look of the Week. Stay close, we'll tell you how to get it.

LABOR DAY: Ideas On How To Spend Without Having To ...Spend

As much as we'd all like to hit the road jack, it's not feasible for everyone. So Bag Ladies has a few cool ideas from Madame Myra's weekly Top 10. So if you don't already have plans, perhaps you might after reading this. And if all else fails, forget the cuddling and instead, drown your sorrows about the fact that you are stuck at home by hitting the malls, stores and boutiques for hella discounts and bargains. Have a great and safe Labor Day Weekend! We'll chat with ya Tuesday ...7p EST only on bagladiesradio.com

1. Pull a recipe from a famous restaurant off the Web — try CopyKat.com or RecipeGoldmine.com — and make your own version of a five-star meal together.

2. Have him over for game night. Mad Gab, Uno, and Twister can all be played with just two people.

3. Buy all the fixings for tacos and make your own at home. You need only a handful of ingredients: tomato, avocado, meat, cheese, shells. Download Latin songs onto your iPod to set a festive mood.

4. Head to a casino with $20 in change and play the slot machines. They often serve free cocktails on the casino floor.

5. Have dinner at a bar during happy hour. There are usually drink specials, and you might also score free appetizers (or at least a gratis bowl of chips). Plus, cozying up on bar stools can feel more intimate than sitting across from each other at a table.

6. Teach each other to play your favorite video games, then place a sexy wager (whoever wins gets treated to a full-body massage that night, for example) before going head-to-head.

7. Belt out some tunes at your local karaoke bar. Sing with the crowd in the bar area for free or rent a private room, which usually runs about $6 to $15 an hour. They typically have anything from Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” to Kanye West’s “Love Lockdown.”

8. Go roller skating at a local rink. General admission is usually around $10, including the skate rentals. Even if you suck, you can still have a blast falling on your asses.

9. Plan a date in reverse. Meet for brunch (breakfast is usually cheaper than dinner), then hit an afternoon movie for the matinee price. Finally, make your way back home and spend the rest of the day in bed together.

SOME OF WHAT WE LIKE TO STAY PURRRRTY FOR FALL!!

So many of you asked so here are some of our fave products from last nite's "Beauty Talk" segment about all things purrrrty! Some products are being introduced just in time for fall but one of our faves in particular, is the Kiehl's Limited Edition Lip Balm #1 Set, introduced to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Lip Balm #1. But the set is so affordable ...you get 6 flavors for the price of 4 consisting of coconut and mango to name a couple and you don't have to worry about that sticky, sweet after-taste and for 32 bucks we see why celebs like Halley Barry, John Mayer and Gwyneth Paltrow consider Lip Balm #1 a must have.
Eyeshadows are so hot for fall and with the variety of Sephora Mono Eyeshadow colors, you will surely find a shade amongst the 54 beauty-full shadows to compliment your look. 54!!! How can you go wrong?! And what's more, the shadows can be applied wet or dry depending on if you are going for a more sophisticated or natural look. My fave is the preppy look N41. Let us know yours ...

We also love the Sephora Smokey Eye Brush which is designed to achieve a smokey eye and even comes complete with step-by-step instructions which I have not yet followed but I will surely get back to you with the results. So if you didn't know, you will know following purchase.

And not to be outdone, Bobbi Brown has a Long-Wear Cream Shadow collection for fall that consists of 8 metallic shades that will leave your lids glittery with a high-shimmer, sheer finish. And the texture is like velvet.

Of course Bag Ladies loves the smell goods and we hope you enjoyed our chatter as much as we did about some hot fall fragrances.

Apple Bottoms by Nelly is sweet and unexpectedly sexy and mature with a very pretty bottle. I couldn't stop sniffing myself. One of my absolute faves. I could definitely see it resting atop my vanity. Available in Macy's and bonton.com

The other fave is one of Kat Von D's fragrances for Sephora. You know Kat is the tatted up chick who had the reality show. Kat concocted two fragrances, Sinner and Saint. I thought my fave would be Sinner as I said on the show last nite, for obvious reasons but I instead preferred the sensual scent of saint filled with sandalwood and musk.

We just love the bottle design of Andy Warhol Success is a Job in New York. The genderless scent is the latest eau de parfum from Bond No. 9. But this fragrance definitely requires layering over something more sweet like a lotion or spritz. Maybe try one of Kiehl's Portable Essential Oils. But either way, you just might have to think twice about paying $145 although it's a $cent as $eductively $weet as a dollar $ign. Available October 1st at Bond No. 9 boutiques and Sak's.

And imagine your favorite perfume in the form of a potpourri or candle. Well that is exactly what Ferragamo delivers with the newly introduced Tuscan Soul Home Collection. The collection launches this month in select Salvatore Ferragamo Boutiques. We loved the Scented Stone the most because not only is it aesthetically pleasing but the scent which the handmade stone gives off is so supple and smooth. I was literally working the other eve and was smelling something good and couldn't quite figure out what it was and I realized the stone was resting on my mantel. The scent is so discreet that you can walk into someones home realizing something smells good yet not be able to put your finger on exactly what is. You will just wanna keep inhaling and taking deep breaths. The fragrance is guaranteed to last for three months. But the concept of the collection is just awesome!
More soon to come ...Until then, stay purrrrty! And don't forget to join us next week for the second show in our month-long wellness series. We started with Beauty Talk and who knows where we'll end up next. Talk to ya ...

QUESTION OF THE WEEK: How do you stay beautiful?

Most women have great loyalty to their daily so-called "beauty routine" whether it consists of applying that MAC Mineralize Satinfinish Foundation, brushing the lids with colorful mono eyeshadow from Sephora's Film Noir collection, applying blush or simply dabbing your lips with a bit of NARS Lip Lacquer. And not to be forgotten, that fave Ferragamo fragrance. Not only that but most women don't leave the house without certain beauty essentials such as Kiehl's Lip Balm from the Lip Balm #1 Limited Edition Set.

Bag Ladies wants to know how do you stay beautiful and what products you absolutely cannot live without. Leave your comments right here (you can do so anonymously even), and we just might reference on tomorrow's show and you might even win some product but you gotta leave your comments and of course you gotta tune in tomorrow.

This week Bag Ladies gets down with Dr. Jeanine Downie, co-author of Beautiful Skin of Color, for some serious chit chat about your skin and how to keep it glowing and beautiful. Bag Ladies will also seek to dispel those notions that we don't have to do anything, don't really need to use sunscreen and more. The season is about to change so what changes might you want to make to your skincare routine to ensure a clean and clear transition from warm to cold. Be sure to tune in tomorrow, Tuesday at 7p EST ...only on bagladiesradio.com. Talk to ya then!
